KILLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A Killington town official says a network of trails in the Green Mountain Forest will stay open this winter to give people more to do during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Rutland Herald reports that Sherburne Trails normally shut down between December and May.
The one-year trial will keep them open all winter. The recreation director for the town says Killington will later evaluate with its partners at Green Mountain National Forest how the winter went and what would be best for next winter.
