The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Athletics Department announced the reschedule date for the 21st Annual Porky's Open golf tournament presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.  The event is now set for Tuesday, August 25 at Council Fire Golf Club.

In order to insure the safety or all participants, staff, and volunteers, the planning committee has made some modifications to this year's tournament. We hope to return to normal operations for the Porky's Open in 2021. Please see below for the modified version of the 21^st Annual Porky's Open. 

• Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. (E.D.T.) and shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. (Please note that this is a new shotgun start time.) 
• Council Fire has a max capacity of 100 people, including players and volunteer/staff. (There is limited capacity for a foursome!) To register, please click here.
• Food - Breakfast and Lunch will be provided to the participants and the "boxed food" will be placed in the golf carts beforehand, so it'll be ready when the participants arrive. 
• No open bar. We will provide drinks in the beverage carts. A volunteer with gloves on will assist with the beverage carts. 
• Golf Carts - Council Fire is expected to have dividers on the golf carts by the time our tournament takes place on August 25^th. That will allow 2 players to ride in a golf cart safely. 
• Silent Auction/ Raffle Prizes - For this year, we will not have a silent auction or raffle prizes.
• Goodie Bags - The goodie bags will already be pre-packaged and placed in the golf carts beforehand. 
• Award Ceremony - We will not have an award ceremony like in the past under the pavilion area. We will email the award winners to all participants at the end of the day by 5:00 p.m. on August 25^th. 

The modified version of the Porky's Open allows the tournament to preserve its value and continue to raise the resources our student-athletes need to have a championship-level experience.

The Porky's Open golf tournament is a premier golf event in Chattanooga and has raised well over $1 million for student-athlete scholarships at UTC. This year, $10,000 of the proceeds will go towards the Frank Kinser Porky's Open Endowed Scholarship.
