BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State football team is scheduled to play at Wyoming, Saturday afternoon to close the regular season.
The Broncos (4-1, 4-0 MW) are tied atop the Mountain West standings with San Jose State.
CONFERENCE WIN STREAK
The Broncos have recorded 13-straight conference victories, the second-longest streak in the country. Only Ohio State (20) has a longer winning streak against conference opponents.
Boise State also enters Saturday's game against Wyoming on an 18-game regular-season winning streak in Mountain West play. That figure now ranks tied for second in Mountain West history with BYU's run of 18 in a row from 2006-08. TCU owns the longest regular-season Mountain West winning streak, at 24 (2008-11).
THE SERIES
Boise State is 13-1 all-time against Wyoming, with the only loss coming in Laramie, Oct. 29, 2016 (30-28). The Broncos avenged the road loss in 2018, knocking off the Cowboys in Laramie, 34-14, the second of what is now three-straight wins for Boise State.

…Boise State is one of just four schools in the country to score each time it has entered the red zone. The Broncos are 16-for-16 with 15 touchdowns (11 rush, five pass). Eastern Michigan is the only school still perfect with more opportunities (23).
…The Broncos rank eighth nationally in third down defense, stopping their opponents 70.3 percent of the time.
…Andrew Van Buren is tied for the Mountain West lead with seven rushing touchdowns.
...Van Buren has also scored a TD every 11.3 times he touches the ball in MW road games, and has two rushing TDs in each of his two MW road contests this season (Air Force and Hawai'i).
…Avery Williams is the only player in the country to rank in the top 10 nationally in both kickoff returns (8th; 29.6) and punt returns (4th; 13.3).
…Williams is one of three players nationally to have two kickoff returns for a touchdown this season, and he's the only player in the country with three scores on special teams.
…Shane Irwin is tied for sixth nationally with 1.00 sacks per game, and he is the only Bronco since at least 2000 - when the NCAA officially began tracking the statistic - to have back-to-back games with at least 2.0 sacks. He accomplished the feat against both Colorado State and Hawai'i.
…Boise State has 373 sacks since 2010, the ninth-most in the country during that time. Clemson (453), Alabama (388), Ohio State (383), Stanford (381), Virginia Tech (381), Penn State (376), Pittsburgh (374) and Texas A&M (374) are the only schools with more sacks during that time.
