"This president has done about as good a job with the rollout as I did with that first pitch at The Nationals game," Kate McKinnon’s Dr. Fauci declared.

Saturday Night Live tackled the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine in the cold open for its Dec. 12 episode, which was hosted by actor Timothee Chalamet.

Beck Bennett played Wolf Blitzer, hosting The Situation Room. Kate McKinnon played Dr. Anthony Fauci, commenting on the vaccine’s distribution. “First, healthcare workers, your McDreamys, your McSteamys,” McKinnon’s Fauci said of who will get the vaccine.

"This president has done about as good a job with the rollout as I did with that first pitch at The Nationals game," McKinnon’s Fauci declared. A video of the terrible pitch then played.

"In New Orleans, we’re tossing the vaccinations up to balconies Mardi Gras-style," McKinnon’s Fauci said.

Heidi Gardner played Trump’s COVID-19 coordinator Deborah Birx, who wanted credit for almost refuting Trump’s advice to drink bleach to kill the virus.
