NPCC prepares to open the curtains - knopnews2

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A unique performance is being put on next week by The North Platte Community College (NPCC) Theater Program. The cast put the finishing touches on their performance Thursday evening with a dress rehearsal.

It is not your average play. Although there are over twenty characters, there are only two students making up the entire cast for the play entitle, “Popcorn Falls.” Each actor is performing the roll of more than ten different characters.

The story is all about how one community is trying to save their town by putting on a play for the first time. But if you want to find out what happens then you will have to catch the show next week. News 2 is not going to spoil it for you!

Thursday night the cast made sure they were ready for the curtain to open on the production. The cast members sharing what they are most excited about for their big week ahead.

“Popcorn Falls” will take the stage Apr. 21-24 beginning at 7:30 p.m. each evening. The event is being held at North Platte Community College’s South Campus in the McDonald-Belton Theater (601 W. State Farm Rd).

You may purchase tickets at the door or online by clicking this link. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and free for NPCC students, faculty, and staff. Be sure to get there early, seating is limited to 100 people!
