
IUPUI athletes will compete against athletes from across the Midwest as the field includes teams from Grace, Huntington, Indiana Tech, Kentucky State, Northern Kentucky, St. Francis and host Purdue Fort Wayne.
Four Jaguars will compete in the 60m dash, keyed by Amani Miles who owns the school record at 7.80 seconds. Lauren Palmer has clocked a time of 8.16 and Kelly Zehnder has run 8.48 seconds. Mikayla Miller will be making her collegiate debut in the event. Marie Terry will compete in the 60 hurdles where she's clocked a time of 9.68 seconds.
Miles and Terry will also run the 200m event as the former owns the school record with a time of 25.16. Terry is fourth on the program's all-time list with a personal best time of 27.17.
In the jumps, Miller will compete in the high jump, looking to top her personal best effort of 1.52m (4' 11.75''). Palmer and Zehnder will compete in the long jump where Palmer has a best jump of 5.06m (16' 7.25''), putting her third on the program's all-time list.
