"We're excited to play in our last event of the fall this week in Stillwater," head coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell said. "It's another opportunity for us to showcase our players. Even though we aren't competing as a team, it's important for us to get some more competitive rounds before the end of the fall season."
The Sooners enter their final fall tournament ranked No. 2 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings - the highest ranking in program history. Drouin-Luttrell's boasts two players inside the top 20 and the Sooners grabbed a pair of top-five finishes in its two team events this fall, finishing T2 at the Schooner and third at the Longhorn Invitational.
The field features nine of the country's top-11 teams, and 14 of the nation's top-20 players.
Since the Sooners aren't playing as a team, they won't appear on the team leaderboard, but individuals Hannah Screen, Hannah Lee and Ellen Secor will all look to take home their first medalist honors as a Sooner.
"We're grateful to Oklahoma State for allowing us to play their tournament as individuals," Drouin-Luttrell said. "We're looking forward to watching our three girls compete and play well."
Teams will open with 36 holes of play on Thursday, followed by a final 18 on Friday.
