samasamp.blogspot.com

The first event on the Challenger Tour this week comes from Waikato, New Zealand, with the Challenger 3 level Morrinsville Open beginning on Thursday.

Like the majority of events on the Challenger Tour right now, this men’s event was limited to players from neighbouring countries, meaning only those from either Australia or New Zealand were allowed to enter.

The top seed for the tournament will be Lwamba Chileshe, the World No.152, who represented his county at the 2019 WSF Men’s World Team Championships in Washington, D.C.

Joel Arscott, who reached the final of the Henderson Rochelle Hobbs Open in February, will be the No.2 seed, and he will be looking to go one better this week.

Temwa Chileshe and Zac Millar will also be amongst the top seeds for this week’s event, which takes place at the Morrinsville Squash Club.

Follow the PSA Challenger Tour on Twitter and Facebook for daily updates from the event.
