A pair of popular restaurants are closing temporarily, one for the upcoming holiday and the other for painting, while multiple others are still actively constructing and renovating locations in Downtown Ocala.
Stella’s Modern Pantry, which is located at 20 SW Broadway Street, will close down between July 6 and July 12 in observance of the July 4 holiday.
La Cuisine French Restaurant, which is located at 48 SW 1st Avenue, closed its doors on June 27.
“As a reminder, we are now closed until July 6 in order to refresh the paint in the whole restaurant,” reads a Facebook post from the restaurant. According to the post, the restaurant will reopen on Tuesday, July 6 at 5 p.m. with new “bright red walls.”
There are multiple restaurants in the midst of ongoing construction projects in Downtown Ocala.
Cantina Tex-Mex Restaurant and Tequila Bar hopes to open later this year across from Harry’s Seafood. Down the block, Symmetry Cafe and Soleil Confections are teaming up for a new cafe that will also serve beer and wine.
