Stacey Rhodes Boutique, an iconic place to shop for Kentucky Derby-inspired attire each spring and other exclusive styles, will close in June after 18 years to make way for a new tenant at its location in Brentwood.
Rhodes posted a message to customers on Instagram on Tuesday morning about the intent to close, writing that an "opportunity has presented itself that benefits all involved for another business to smoothly transition into my location."
"I know they will love and appreciate my space as much as I have since the first day I saw this building. I was so lucky to have the best landlord who shared a vision to bring this old building back to life, and I look forward to it's continuation," Rhodes said.
The full-service boutique, equipped with stylists, is located in Brentwood's business district along Franklin Road.
Rhodes, a graduate of O'More School of Design, told her customers to "stay tuned" for her future endeavors, indicating that her future is filled with new opportunities.
"The future is truly exciting and inspiring with many new opportunities in front of me, and I can't wait to share them with you! Stay tuned," she said.
On April 28, Rhodes had just posted on Twitter that she was excited to reopen on Wednesday last week as part of Gov. Bill Lee's phased reopening plan for businesses.
"Our SRB family is looking forward to seeing you! We have been home as you all have, and will now be there for your when we open our doors this Wednesday! See you then! #shoplocal #supportsmallbusiness #StaceyRhodesBoutique #SRBstyle"
Leaving a legacy of style and memories
In her Tuesday message on Instagram, Rhodes thanked her customers for the relationships she has built over the years and called Brentwood her "hometown."
"The relationships I have made with my customers, the fashion and business community, students and non-profits will remain with me forever. You are my people, and this is my hometown," she said.
Stacey Rhodes Boutique is curated with well-known, exclusive lines as well as cutting edge, emerging designers. The full-service boutique features the newest collections of apparel, footwear, artisan jewelry, handbags, designer sunglasses and more.
All merchandise is 30% off in-store and online. Store fixtures will also be for sale.
Updates will be posted on Instagram and Facebook.
