Pep Boys will shutter several New Jersey stores as part of its plan to close over 100 locations and shift the company out of retail operations, according to multiple reports.
The automotive supply chain will close its Parsipanny store on Route 46 but continue auto work and repairs there, according to Patch.
This follows a report from The Philadelphia Inquirer earlier this month that said Pep Boys employees in Cherry Hill and Marlton were told those stores would close this summer. The same report said a store in Turnersville is expected to shutter, too.
Store closing dates have not been announced.
The company will shift its focus out of retail to concentrate on Pep Boys garages and tire outlets, according to the Inquirer.
Pep Boys stores in Audubon and Stratford closed retail operations earlier this year.
The Philadelphia-based auto parts company was founded in 1921. It currently operates 49 New Jersey locations and over 1,000 in the United States and Puerto Rico.
