The City of Dyersville is hosting an open house tonight about a proposed bridge project that aims to connect the two sides of town.
The proposed bridge crossing the North Fork Maquoketa River would connect 12th Avenue Southwest to 13th Avenue Southeast, giving drivers a more direct route from the southwest to southeast side of town and vice versa.
Dyersville residents are invited to an open house tonight to learn more about the proposed project. Display boards will be set up, with a power point presentation by engineering firm HDR and City Administrator Mick Michels. There will also be an opportunity for residents to ask questions.
Tonight’s open house begins at 6 pm at the Dyersville Social Center at 625 3rd Avenue Southeast.
The City also plans to post drawings of the proposed bridge project on their website at dyersville.org.
