A Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) business unit has secured a nearly $139 million contract from the U.S. Navy to procure, repair, overhaul and update parts of a radar-guided gun system for defending against anti-ship missiles and aerial threats.

Under the three-year contract, Raytheon Missiles & Defense will also provider mini-stock point support for Close-In Weapon System components, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support is the contracting activity and will issue a $44.2 million initial delivery order under the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quality contract.

Raytheon developed the Phalanx CIWS to help military customers target close-in threats at sea and counter adversarial systems on land.
