The event featured some of the top programs from around the country and saw nearly 600 student-athletes competing between the men's and women's races.

"The teams competed hard today in a stacked competition," said head coach Cassandra Goodson. "Like most meets there are things our team did well and some things we need to improve. We are looking forward to the opportunity to have solid month of training before our next competition."

As a team, the men placed 14th among 26 overall teams with a field that had 254 runners. The women placed 24th of 29 teams with 290 runners in the field. Defending national champion and No. 1 ranked BYU won the women's 6K race, while No. 5 Stanford won the men's 8K competition.

The men's team finished just two spots behind Clemson while finishing ahead of South Florida, FIU, FAU, and Miami in the team standings.
