The New Orleans Saints are working on a trade for Texans starting cornerback Bradley Roby, a source told The Athletic.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the deal is being finalized.
Roby, 29, will be available in Week 2 against the Panthers after his suspension for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy ends. He's expected to boost a thin Saints CB group that is without an injured Ken Crawley.
Roby has played seven NFL seasons, including five in Denver and the last two in Houston. He was drafted by the Broncos in the first round of the 2014 draft and has 10 interceptions in 49 career starts.
The Saints begin their season Sunday against the Packers in Jacksonville.
