With October, spooky season is officially underway... and the Buffalo Sabres kicked it off a little early last night, with a spooky (terrible) performance in a 6-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings. While Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen looked good in the initial twenty minutes, the effort collapsed from there. Thankfully, it’s still only preseason, and the Sabres will get another crack at it tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
