HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Wednesday starts off fairly sunny, but as temperatures heat up, some showers and isolated thunderstorms may develop, especially just north and west of the Tri-Cities. Some may move into the Tri-Cities. Any rain that does develop should diminish around and just after sunset. Highs on Wednesday will mostly reach the mid to upper 70s, but may get above 80° in parts of Northern and Eastern Nebraska.
Thursday will be our first warmer, more summer like day in a while. Highs will mostly push into the mid to upper 80s Skies will be mostly sunny and wind won’t be too strong. Winds will turn a bit breezier starting on Friday and continuing through early next week. This means winds will be more in the range of 10 to 20 mph during the day. Meanwhile, temperatures will be on the warm side with highs mostly in the mid to upper 80s Friday through Monday. Some may get to 90°, especially in Northern Nebraska. Plenty of sun is expected through the weekend. There will be a slight chance for rain and thunderstorms by Sunday evening. A slight chance will continue into Monday.
