Scouting the Tigers | Roster | Schedule | Statistics
Louisiana State University makes the trip into the Caribbean Sea after taking down Tulane at home, 75-58. Early in the year, the Tigers are led in scoring by Khayla Pointer who averages 15.5 points per game. Alexis Morris also scores in double-digits, posting 11.3 points per contest through the first four games. Down low, 6-2 forward Autumn Newby comes in as one of the top rebounders in the SEC as she averages 10.3 boards.
The meeting with LSU will also mark the first time that the Aggies have shared the floor with an SEC school since they took on Vanderbilt on Dec. 29, 2015. With a win over the Tigers, this Aggie squad would be the first NM State team to beat a Power Five program since Nov. 28, 2009, when Darrin Spence led the Aggies to a win over Michigan (72-67) inside the Pan American Center.
Scouting the Golden Eagles | Roster | Schedule | Statistics
After opening the year 2-0, Tennessee Tech heads to Puerto Rico on a two-game losing streak, falling at the hands of Middle Tennessee most recently. Guard Anna Jones has been TTU's star, leading the Golden Eagles in both scoring (13.3 PPG) and rebounding (8.8 RPG). Junior Jada Guinn has also been a leader on the offensive side of the ball as she has poured in 9.8 points per game through the first four tilts.
Prior to meeting up with NM State, the Golden Eagles will take on No. 25 Florida Gulf Coast in their San Juan Shootout opener on Friday, Nov. 26.
