Online retail giant Amazon is planning to open another one of its 4-star stores in New Jersey.
The brick-and-mortar store will open at the Cherry Hill Mall in Cherry Hill. It will be located in the mall’s Macy’s wing, between Armani Exchange and MAC.
Although an exact opening date has yet to be announced, the store is set to open in the first half of 2022, according to Chain Store Age. It is currently listed as “Coming Soon” on the mall’s website.
Amazon’s 4-star stores carry a selection of the company’s most-popular and best-rated items, including from electronics, toys, games, books and home goods. Everything in stock is either an Amazon top-seller or rated at least four stars by shoppers.
For Amazon Prime members visiting the store, prices are the same as they are online. Non-Prime members have to pay list price. Price tags inside the store are updated digitally in real time, accompanied by star ratings.
Despite Amazon’s dominance in the online shopping industry, it has made the move in recent years to open more brick-and-mortar locations.
This will be New Jersey’s third Amazon 4-star location. The first opened in Wayne (Willowbrook Mall) in 2020. The second opened in East Rutherford (American Dream Mall) earlier this year.
There are currently 33 Amazon 4-star locations nationwide and another 10 on the way.
