DEXTER, MI - City offices in Dexter are closed for in-person business Nov. 15-19 because of a COVID-19 exposure in a staff member, city officials announced Monday in an email to residents.

Staff will continue to answer phones and respond to emails, according to City Manager Justin Breyer.

“This is precautionary for the safety of the public,” he said.

Utility bill payments and documents can be left in the drop box in front of PNC Bank at 8123 Main Street in Dexter, and officials said questions can be directed to 734-426-8303.

The city hopes to open for normal walk-in traffic again next week, Breyer said.
